Two children are injured after a vehicle crashed into the fence of a daycare in Vaughan on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle collision around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Rutherford Road and Melville Avenue.
Investigators say children were playing outside when a male driver in his 80s lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the metal fence surrounding the daycare. The smashed fence collided with two children and an adult employee.
Two boys and the employee were taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police say all other children have been accounted for and were not injured.
The driver did not sustain injuries.
There is no word what caused the crash and no charges have been laid.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
