The cheapest petrol prices in south east London amid soaring fuel costs
Petrol prices have increased since the last week in July and are now starting to touch £1.50 per litre.
Over the past 30 days, prices at the pump have increased by nearly 5 per cent, according to PetrolPrices.com.
Premium brands such as BP and Esso average at more than £1.50 per litre for unleaded, while supermarkets average at around £1.45.
Prices vary significantly by region, with Greater London having some of the highest prices in the UK.
