One of the homes within that historic neighborhood is on the market. The Gunter and Elizabeth Hardie House, at 127 E. Lynwood Ave. in one of San Antonio’s most opulent neighborhoods, is up for sale, listed for just under $3 million. The home was built in 1928 and has kept several of its original features, including tile work and architecture.
“Featuring ornate iron work, stunning hardwoods, impressive marble and original tile work, this gorgeous, naturally lit home is sure to impress,” real estate agent Mallory Baird, who represents the home, wrote in its description. “This exquisite estate has been thoughtfully updated, while still maintaining its original features and character.”

Included within the home are three bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths. While the primary bedroom features dual bathrooms, along with a large outdoor patio and attached office or study, all secondary bedrooms include ensuite bathrooms and exterior balconies. A spiral staircase leads from the main floor to the bedrooms.
